About AliBefore becoming a consultant, Ali gained over 20 years of marketing experience in a variety of positions and companies in industries as varied as financial software, facilities maintenance/industrial distribution, biotech and publishing. As a Senior Direct Marketing Manager at Intuit she managed direct response strategy and execution for several Small Business Division products both in the US and in the United Kingdom. While in the UK, she helped launch Intuit's first global payments product, Intuit Payment. Ali started her tenure at Intuit as a Print Production manager and then moved into Client Services before transitioning into direct marketing.
Prior to joining Intuit, Ali was the Print Production Supervisor at HD Supply, managing a team of print buyers and coordinators. She managed a $3M annual budget and oversaw the printing and mailing of all marketing materials and two 25,000+ SKU catalogs each year. Early in her career, Ali held Print Buyer, Project Manager, and Advertising positions at companies such as Stratagene and Academic Press.
